Impact#

  • MySQL servers running on NixOS VMs are being restarted.

  • RabbitMQ will be restarted on NixOS VMs.

NixOS platform#

  • Increase kernel loglevel to help debug VM crashes.

  • Reduce MySQL buffer pool from 80% to 70% of RAM. We saw VMs starting to swap.

  • Update Vulnix for improved scanning times and flexible whitelist handling (#23254).

  • Reduce journal noise: sensu-client, systemd-quotacheck (#21808).

  • Update RabbitMQ to 3.6.5 (#23773).
