Configuration#

  • Performance optimisations for default PostgreSQL configuration: enlarged shared_buffers, checkpoints, async io, … (RT 82296).

  • Finally roll out strict firewall rules (started in rel_20120308) on all machines (#8846).

  • Fix OpenLDAP restart bug that led to dead slapd instances in rare circumstances.

  • Provide a sensible ZSH default configuration and avoid running the newuser module. (#10377)

Monitoring#

  • Improved PostgreSQL logging: checkpoint times, connects, vacuum time (RT 82296).
